I like these TIC rock speakers in the small form. The build quality is excellent down to the detail. I hook it up with my Panasonic receiver and put out plenty of volume for backyard BBQ's and deck parties. It retains great sound quality and I never felt I was hurting them when turning up the volume.
You pay for the all weather capability, but remember it doesn't move as much air as the larger speakers therefore don't expect them to deliver the same bass that you get from a 10in. subwoofer however, they do exactly what they are designed to do - good sound quality in all weathers and they do it very well. By the way, after I saw the new price on the TIC rock subwoofer (TFS50) I'm very tempered to get one this summer.
